Rebecca Moralez

Rebecca Moralez, 34, a loving wife passed away May 13, 2008. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso and a graduate of Western Technical College and Andress High School. She enjoyed working as a Physical Therapy assistant before her illness. She fought cancer with strength, courage and faith that those who witnessed it will forever be inspired. Ms. Moralez is survived by her husband, Art Moralez; parents, Ramon & Grace Diaz; sister, Susie Acosta; brother, Mon Diaz and grandpa, Robert Kane. The family of Rebecca would like to give a special thank you to all the beautiful people that helped and gave their time when she needed it the most. We would like to thank all our dear friends at all El Paso and New Mexico Kmart stores, nurses and staff at Del Sol Hospital, Shery and Robert of VNA hospice, Olga Moralez and Joey Luevano for their help, Robert Ortega and all of the Holy Spirit of Hope Church and all family and friends that kept her in their prayers. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 with a Prayer Service at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas; located at 9521 N. Loop Drive. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at San Antonio Catholic Church; located at 503 Hunter. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
