Rebeca Cortez

Rebeca Cortez, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008 in El Paso. Mrs. Cortez worked as a saleswoman for many years in downtown El Paso. More recently, she enjoyed her family and taking care of her dog Max. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Eddie Cortez and sisters Laura, Consuelo, and Mercedes. Mrs. Cortez is survived by daughter, Olga Bell and husband Ivan. Sons, Jesus Rey Cortez and wife Celia, Luis Cortez and wife Eva, Ernesto Cortez and wife Yolanda. Grandchildren, Betty, Ivan, Robert, Raymond, Ruben, Melisa, Luis, Clarissa, Valerie Ann and many great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Ernesto Cortez, Raymond Cortez, Ruben Cortez, Luis Cortez II, Ivan R. Bell, and Eric Alvarez. Interment will be in Evergreen East Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
