Raul Ontiveros, 75, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024
Raul was born in Fabens, Texas on January 25, 1949. He graduated from Clint High School and then left to serve his country proudly in the United States Army. Raul would later marry the love of his life in 1972, Myrna Legarreta. The following year they were blessed with a son, Richard Ontiveros.
Raul worked as a warehouse manager for Ellerbe Tile for many years and later retired from Interceramic Tile Company. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. In his earlier years, he took part in the church choir. He also loved to read and pray the rosary.
Raul is preceded in death by his loving wife Myrna Ontiveros, his mother Dorotea Ontiveros and his brother Juan Ontiveros. He is survived by his son Richard Ontiveros (Teresa A. Ontiveros), his sister-in-law Christina Legarreta, brothers-in-law, Jose Legarreta (Bertha Legarreta) and Jimmy Legarreta, and beloved nieces, Arianna and Arissa Meza.
Liturgy of the Word and Rosary will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2024 at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, 12200 Vista Del Sol. Interment will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 with Military Honors at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson.
