Raul Ontiveros

Raul passed on March 28, 2018 at the age of 84. He fought a long and courageous battle with a C.O.P.D. (Emphysema). Raul is preceded in death by sister Lucia “Chia” Rivera. He is survived by wife Dolores “Lola” Ontiveros, daughters Marti Pacetti and Roberta “Bobbi” Goodwin. He is also survived by son Raul Ontiveros Jr and granddaughters Nicole “Nikki” Simpson (Todd), Meagan Goodwin and great granddaughter Valentina “Vallie” Simpson. Raul is also survived by nephews Rick Rivera, Ron Rivera, Ray Rivera, Johnny Rivera, niece Roseanne Geiger and several great nephews and nieces. Raul was a Korean War Veteran and was awarded several service medals. We would like to thank his many cousins, friends and neighbors who truly loved him. We love you and miss you very much Dad. Rest in peace. Visitation 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Service will be at 10:15 AM, Friday, April 6, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East. Committal Service will follow at 11:30 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
