Raquel Avila

Raquel Avila, 90, entered into eternal rest on February 20, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel Avila Martinez; son, Manuel Avila- Escareño; parents, Jose Guadalupe Escareño and Paula Morales Hernandez. Grandsons, Daniel Avila and Ruben Cazares. Great Grandchild, Aleena Anchondo. Brother, Antonio Escareño- Morales; sister, Maria Escareño- Morales, Aurora Escareño- Morales and Celia Escareño- Morales. Raquel is survived by her loving sons, Jorge Luis Avila and Jesus Avila. Daughters, Maria Del Refugio Avila and Gloria Estela Avila. Brother, Jose Escareño- Morales, sisters, Maria De Jesus Escareño- Morales. Also leaving behind 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren to cherish her memory forever. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr, El Paso, Texas 79907. A mass will begin at 11:30 AM on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Mount Carmel Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. A graveside will follow at 12:45 PM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907.
