Ramona Anaya

Ramona Anaya Ayabar, 92, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021. Ramona was born in Morenci, AZ on July 27, 1928. She was one of five siblings. Ramona worked at Sierra Medical Center for 23 years from 1979-2002 in Environmental Services. She loved to dance, travel, cook and be with family and friends. She had a strong Catholic Faith. Ramona was preceded in death by her beloved husband Inocente Anaya who passed in 1988. They were married for 34 years. She gave birth to 11 children. Her son Daniel passed in 1978. She leaves behind her sons Inocente Jr., Jose Manuel, Jose Ramon and daughters Gloria, Lucia, Fabiana, Cipriana and Angelica. She also leaves behind 7 in-laws, 21 grand-children, 24 great-grand-children, and 3 great-great-grand-children. Visitation is from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. The Eulogy will be at 5:00 p.m. followed with the Vigil/Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held for Ramona on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2709 Alabama.
