Ramon "Monchi" Saenz

It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Ramon “Monchi” Saenz on Monday, July 6, 2020 . Ramon was a loving husband, incredible father and brother. Ramon was a 1979 graduate of Cathedral High School. He received his Bachelor of Business Degree from The University of Texas at El Paso in May 1992. He was employed at Vitalant (formerly United Blood Services) for 25 years. Ramon was full of life. He was a nice, pleasant, humble and simple man who would do anything for anyone. His smile expressed the kindness in his heart. One of his favorite things to do when he came home from work was to watch television. Ramon’s laugh was addicting and would make anyone laugh with him. He loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with his kids. Ramon loved his kids immensely and being a father was one of his greatest accomplishments. Ramon, the day you left and gained your wings, our hearts broke in two. We wish you could of stayed but heaven needed you. You left us with so many memories and we love you so much. No matter how much time goes by, you know we always will. We know we cannot bring you back although we wish it every day. But a piece of us went with you the day you went away. Ramon was a loving husband to his wife Magdalena (Maggie) Saenz, a wonderful father to his three children, Sara, Rene and Daniel Saenz and a great brother to Sylvia Saenz Corona, Carmen Saenz and Laura Rafaniello. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Ramon and Enriqueta Saenz. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, with Funeral Service at 7:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Graveside Service will be held privately by his family.
