Ralph Adley "Stormy" Fairweather

December 4, 1931 — July 19, 2011

Ralph Adley Fairweather, known to family and friends as "STORMY", passed away on July 19, 2011, at the age of 79 years old. Stormy was a native of Middletown, NY. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and retired with the US Government in El Paso, TX. Stormy was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Disabled Veterans of America. He will always be remembered for his cheerful personality that could light up the room. He enjoyed singing Johnny Cash tunes with his Baritone voice. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, In Suk "Suky" Fairweather; sisters: Dorothy Weeden of Hudson, FL, Sally Smith of Webbville, KY; brothers: Richard Fairweather and James Fairweather of Middletown, NY; sons: Dwain Fairweather of Sunnyvale, CA, Jerry Fairweather of Westfield, NY, Brian Fairweather of Irving, NY, Warren Cross of Coshocton, OH; daughters: Sally Schade of Sugar Hill, GA, Hazel Cross of Pleasanton, CA, Rena Harrell of Bluffton, SC; and 14 Grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Services will begin at 12pm, Monday, July 25, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
