Rachael Salome

Rachael Salome, age 45, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. She was a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, and sister who will be greatly missed. Rachel is preceded in death by her mother; Deborah J. Salome. She is survived by her grandmother; Bernice May Godley and her siblings; Trey Salome, Bonnie Salome, and Lisa Schlinke. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory, namely Otilia (Tita) Rodriguez, Lily Santana, Arthur Santana. We would like to recognize Tita and Lily for the lifetime of wonderful care and love they gave Rachael. Thank you also to an amazing team of doctors, nurses, and caretakers who supported Rachael over the past 45 years. Together, they gave Rachael comfort and quality of life.

Rachael loved children, bracelets, Golden Corral, and Disneyland. Her favorite color was purple, and she was passionate about soccer. The simplest things in life gave her happiness. Rachael taught us to recognize just how very blessed we are, in our own perfect bodies, and though life is challenging, we all can overcome.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:30pm on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home-West
