Phyllis L. Gardner

Phyllis L. Gardner, age 92, entered into the kingdom of heaven on Friday, July 24, 2020 in El Paso, Texas. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the only child of Edward and Frances Hill. She and her husband, Alfred E. Gardner, moved to El Paso, Texas in 1967. Phyllis and Al (an Episcopal priest), were active in several local churches and were founding members of St. Francis on the Hill Episcopal Church. Phyllis was an executive secretary for many years and served as the headmaster’s administrative assistant at St. Clement’s School. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters: Kimberly Forsyth (Tom), Jan Beatty (Steve), Linda Stine, Susan Wood, and Cathy Schneider (Mike). She also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Ryan and Vanessa Forsyth, Adam and Mark Beatty, Daniel Stine, Matthew and Scott Schneider, to cherish and honor her memory.
