Pete C Padilla

Pete C. Padilla went home to be with Jesus on June 6. Pete was an avid sports fan and memorabilia collector who enjoyed participating as well as watching all sports. He embraced life with gusto and was a fun-loving and devoted father who enjoyed his children, Jackie and Peter Anthony. He will be dearly missed especially by his family and best friend, Gracie Padilla, many friends and business associates, Preceded in death by his father Johnny C. Padilla. Survived by his mother, Nieves O. Padilla, sisters; Emma Garcia, Grace Navarrette, and Virginia Bejarano; his “bro,” Ray; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, June 8 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-East 750 N. Carolina Dr. and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church. 750 N. Clark. Mass on Monday June 9, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at San Antonio De Padua Catholic Church 503 Hunter. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
