"Peggy" Emma E. Castle

Peggy” Emma E. Castle; 88 years old passed away June 21, 2008. She was born to Henry R. and Bertha Cortez Ludwig of Anthony, N.M., November 26, 1919, a native of El Paso. She is survived by her 3 sons: Frederick C. Castle (Lanette), Ronald L. Castle (Cecelia) and Ellison George Castle. 4 Grandchildren: Shane (Samantha), Steven (Brianne), Kathleen, and Brian. 1 Great-Grandchild: Stephen Castle; 1 sister: Anne Sylvester, and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Albert; 4 brothers: Henry, Bill, George & Gus Ludwig; 2 sisters: Bertha Backer & Nell Windmoeller. Peggy was a member of White Spur, Coronado & El Paso High School Boards. She was active in Boy Scouts of America & PTA of all the above schools along with being a Spanish teacher at White Spur ( Zack White) school. Visitation will be held TODAY, Sunday, June 22, 2008 from 6 to 8pm. at Sunset Funeral Homes- West in the Chapel of Peace. Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm, Monday, June 23, 2008 at Mt. Franklin Baptist Church located at 201 E. Sunset Dr. it will be officiated by Carl De Lozier. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery. Church elders will serve as pallbearers; honorary pallbearers: Shane Castle, Steve Castle and Stephen Castle. In Lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the American Cancer Society or Royal Estates.
