Pedro Payan

Pedro Payán Sr., was born in Chihua, Chih. Mexico on April 29, 1921. He came to the U.S. in 1956, living in El Paso with his wife of 66 years, Luz Soto Payán, until his death on May 6, 2010 at the age of 89. Pedro is survived by his sons Pedro Payán, Jr., Miguel Payán and Jose L. Payán, his daughter Patricia Payán Brondo, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. His greatest gift was his generous love and deep sense of responsibility to take care of his wife and children. Every one of us carries the certainty of his love as his legacy. Visitation will be 4-9 pm with a Vigil at 6 pm on Monday, May 10, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Mass will be at 10 am on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church, 2709 Alabama, following an Interment at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
