Pedro Morehead,

Pedro “Pete” Morehead, Jr., born in El Paso, Texas on November 10, 1941, our beloved father, husband, brother, grandfather, and friend, left us to join hands and walk with Our Lord on March 11, 2011 after loosing a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Olga; sons: George, Fred, and David; and daughter, Yvette. His siblings, Lilia Hernandez (Husband, Alfredo), Richard Morehead (Wife, Margarita), and Julia Daugherty( Late Husband, John) accompanied him by his bedside during his last moments. He is also survived by numerous nephews and grandkids. “Pete” what he was called by his fellow chauffeurs at all of the various taxi cab companies in town. Known for his charismatic charm and kindness will be greatly missed by his peers and family. He was a positive influence to all of his family and friends. The Morehead Family would like to thank all friends and family as well as the Dr’s who treated Mr. Morehead in his period of pain and suffering. Special thanks to Mrs. Mota, his caretaker. Visitation will be held from 5-9 pm with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. A Funeral Mass will begin at 9:00am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
