Pedro (Pete) Cordero

Pedro (Pete) Cordero, 78, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Mr. Cordero retired from the Ysleta Independent School District after 37 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Maria Lourdes. He raised eight beautiful children, Marco Antonio(Shirin), Pedro Dionicio (Carrie), Julio Cesar, Isaac Andres, Alma Delia Beach(Bruce), Rosa Minerva Cordero, Dina Renteria (Ricardo) and Judith Cordero(Gustavo+) who preceded him in death. He was a man of God whose legacy will forever live through all the hearts he touched. He passed away surrounded by the love of his family, and even though we know he is gone, he will forever be in our hearts and GOD BLESS AMERICA. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm with a prayer service at 6 pm Friday, September 12, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 9:15 am Saturday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 7712 Rosedale. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
