Pearl Miranda, 79, passed away March 13, 2007 in El Paso, Texas. She was born on August 21, 1927 in Norton, Kansas and made El Paso her home for 39 years. She is survived by her two daughters and their families: Toni and Sam Patiño and their sons: Sam Jr., wife Diana with 3 children and Jason, wife Sonya with 2 children; and Frances and David Perry. Preceding her in death was husband, Fred T. Miranda; son, Alvin; and grandson, Shane. Pearl worked in the Post Exchanges around the world. She was a member of the NCO & VFW Wives Clubs, Girl Scout and Brownie Leader, enjoyed crafts, crocheting & sewing. Visitation: 5 - 8 PM, Monday, March 19, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Graveside Service: 10 AM, Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
