Patrick Edward Goss, 81 was called by our heavenly father on Saturday, June 26, 2010. He was born to Patrick and Etta Goss on September 25, 1928 in Wilson, North Carolina. He served in the U.S. Army and retired in 1968. He then worked for the U.S. postal service and was business agent for APWU and injury compensation specialist from which he retired with 20 years service. He was a dedicated volunteer for the PLC children’s program at Whitaker Elementary school in El Paso, and also was a volunteer instructor for the US Army Reserve Family Support. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His pleasant personality and sense of humor will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Lillian D. Goss, son William F. Goss (wife Hilda), daughter Carol A. Fanion, (husband Joe) and daughter Barbara Lugo-Williams, and sister Mary Ruth Simon. He was also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home in Northeast El Paso with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 pm. Committal Service will be at 10:30a.m., Thursday July 1, 2010 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. You may post a message and sign an on-line guestbook at www.TributeToPa.com.
