Patricia Ann Palmer

Patricia Ann Palmer, age 63, of El Paso, Texas passed away on April 22nd, 2017 at the Center for Compassionate Care West after a courageous battle with cancer. Patti was born in Rosenheim, Germany on July 30th, 1953 and grew up traveling with the military before her family settled in El Paso. She is a graduate of Andress High School and the University of Texas at El Paso. She worked as a teacher for nearly 20 years in EPISD, where she made many friends and touched the lives of many of her students, before retiring in 2015. Patti is preceded in death by her father, Curtis, and her step father, Kay. She is survived by her mother, Rosemarie, her sisters, Susan and Marcella, her children, John (Mackenzie) and Rebecca (Edward), and her beloved grandchildren, Emma and Benjamin. A memorial service will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 27 th, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast at 4631 Hondo Pass, El Paso, Texas 79904. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Research Institute, Hospice of El Paso, or any charity of your choice in Patti’s honor.
