Patricia Mills

Obituary Patricia Moore Mills, 88, passed away on December 16, 2016. Patricia was born in El Paso, Texas on July 6th, 1928. She graduated from El Paso High School and received her degree in Business Administration from Texas College of Mines. Patricia would later marry the love of her life in 1947, John. Patricia was a loving wife and mother and took great pride in caring for her home and family. She was also a faithful servant of God, volunteering in her church and using her arts and crafts skills whenever needed. A lifelong resident of El Paso, Patricia loved the Franklin Mountains. She enjoyed leisure time with family and friends in Ruidoso, New Mexico as well, and when traveling, camped out often, although reluctantly. With a sweet but competitive spirit, Patricia was always ready for a game of cards with family and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie B. and Myrtle M. Moore, her sister, Jean Gragg, and her lifelong friend, Betty Carson. She leaves behind her husband of sixty-nine and one half (69 ½) years, John, and two sons, Robert (Bob) and Glenn. Visitation will be held for Patricia on Monday, December 19th, 2016, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home – Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 20th, 2016, at 12:00 PM at Faith United Methodist Church, 3500 Pershing Dr. Burial will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Faith United Methodist Church or the Rescue Mission of El Paso. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes Northeast.
