Patricia Hester

After a long battle with illness, Patricia Lee Hester went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2008. She was born on August 27, 1950 in Oregon City, Oregon to Byrum and Genevieve Lee. Pat was a longtime El Paso resident and found much joy in her family and her career as an elementary school teacher. Patricia is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Hester; her daughter, Allison Page (Bernie); her son, William Hester; her father, Byrum C. Lee (Wylodean); sister, Barbara Zinn (Ed); brother Byrum Lee, Jr. (Valerie). She was preceded in death by her mother, Genevieve Lee and sister, Virginia Lee Stiles. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 3:00 at Coronado Baptist Church. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Patricia Hester Memorial Fund at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of her love for children and her valiant battle with cancer.
