Patricia Carolyn Dugger

Patricia Carolyn Whitt, 77, passed away on 19 February due to natural causes. She was born in Dallas to Ira and Julia Whitt. The family moved to El Paso in 1950. She graduated from Austin High School and Texas Western College. Pat married William Peck in 1957 and divorced in 1974. She taught second grade at Parkland, Zavala and Roberts Elementary schools for 30 years. She supported El Paso Pro-Musica, El Paso Opera Guild, and was a member of teachers’ sorority Delta Kappa Gamma and the mystery book fan club Sisters in Crime. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret Whitt Fouts. She is survived by her son, William David Peck and his wife, Vicki Mitchell. Our thanks go to her doctors, nurses, and especially Sandra De La Torre of Dena’s Foster care and Irma Vallejo of Irma’s Angel Care. You gave her loving care for her last years.
