Patria Del Rosario was surrounded by beloved family as she entered into eternity and in the hands of the Lord at the age of 93. As a devout Catholic, she was a long-time and original parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Patria was born in the Philippines to Emilio Sobremisana/Zamora and Rosario Condino. Patria had a passion for playing the piano and for dancing. She was the youngest at age 13 to perform with the State Theatre dance troupe in Manila. Patria married the love of her life, Rene, in 1944. Both survived the Japanese occupation during World War II. After numerous moves around the world because of Rene’s U.S. Army career, they eventually settled their family in El Paso, TX, where they were active in the Filipino community. Both were avid ballroom dancers who graced the dance floor. Patria was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed every moment with her family. She will be dearly missed by her 11 surviving children, 29 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, and a daughter.
