Pamela Jo Cofield

Pamela Jo Cofield passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025.

Pamela Cofield was born in Munich, Germany May 06, 1954. She then moved to El Paso, Tx in 1971 and attended El Paso High School and graduated in 1972. She then met Donald Cofield Sr. and later married and had two kids Donald M. Cofield Jr. and Jason Cofield.

Pamela Cofield worked as a waitress for 45 years. She started working at Comos Downtown El Paso, Tx, then worked for Comos on Mesa and The Italian Kitchen until she retired from The Italian Kitchen in 2019.

She loved to dance, sing and in her earlier days go out and party with her friends. Her favorite thing to do was watch her shows on Lifetime, B.E.T and channel 6 (ABC).

Pamela Cofield was a wonderful soul. She always cared for others and made sure everyone did not go without. She was loved and very respected by everyone she encountered. She touched everyone with her warmth, grace, smile, laughter, and candor.

She was a heaven of a woman. She was the jewel of hearts and the backbone of our family always keeping us strong minded and together. Pamela Cofield was a firm believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, fellowshipping with all that would hear. She was the best there was at all the titles she carried in life and gave us all she had in her. She is and forever will be our sunshine rising every morning checking in with all of us now and forevermore. We love and cherish her today, tomorrow, and forever.

She was proceeded in death and survived by Marion Clayton Skurklock and Helen Joseph Skurklock; Jerry Clayton Skurklock. She leaves behind her children Donald M. Cofield Jr. and Jason Cofield, and his wife Travette Cofield. Pamela Cofield also leaves behind grandchildren Jason Milton Cofield, Shirkira Iman Cofield and Kaomi Jonay Cofield, Kason Oshea Cofield, Troy Cofield Oats, Joyce Oats, Alonzo James Cofield, and her great grandchild Dawn Jo Rose Green.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00pm with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:00pm on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. Committal Service to follow at 9:00am on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave.
