Our beloved father was peacefully called home on Thursday, February 14, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatriz and baby daughter, Socorro. Survived by his children, Robert (Ofelia), Cora, Sylvia (Ruben), Veronica (Porfirio), and Raul., granddaughters; Yvette, Michelle, Lizette, Vanessa and Erica. His pallbearers will be his grandsons; Eric, Roy, Ruben Jr., Raul Jr., Chris, Robbie, and Jacob, Great-grandchildren Megan, Lizzie, Andrew, Mia, Ella, Daisy, D’Anthony and Baby Torres. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a Vigil to be said at 6:00 pm Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home - East, 750 N. Carolina. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 18, 2008 at Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
