Oscar Ramirez

Oscar "El Foca" Ramirez, Sr., 75, passed away on March 4, 2007 in El Paso, TX. He was born May 30,1931 and was a life long resident of El Paso, TX. He proudly served his country during the Korean War. Survived by his wife Maria Luisa Ramirez; son, Oscar Ramirez Jr. (Maria); daughters, Edna R. Lopez (Armando) and Martha M. Silva (Arnulfo); grandchildren: Karina Armendariz (Daniel), Valerie, Armando Jr., Adrian Lopez, Erik, and Crystal Padilla, Oscar III and Jeanette Ramirez, Oscar Martinez, Ivan and Abel Silva; great grandchildren: Taylor "pumpkin" and Alyssa Lopez; brothers: Abraham and Antonio Silva; and sister, Margarita S. Dominguez. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm with a Vigil to begin at 7 pm, Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 9:30 am, Friday, March 9, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
