Omer A. Vanoverstraeten

Omer A. Vanoverstraeten, age 84, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 01, 2021 in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful father, brother, and son and will be greatly missed. Omer is preceded in death by his loving parents; Charles Louis Vanoverstraeten and Elizabeth Charlotte Tastenoe and son Mark Vanoverstraeten. He is survived by his beautiful wife Irma Yolanda Vanoverstraeten, his adoring children; Mariebeth Devreux, Daniel Vanoverstraeten, David Vanoverstraeten, Vicky Vanoverstraeten, Lisa Vanoverstraeten, Ricardo Hernandez and Connie Mendoza, his wonderful brother; Daniel Vanoverstraeten (Jeannine) and many beautiful Grandchildren and a Great Grandchild. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory. Visitation will be held Friday, August 06, 2021 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Funeral Service to be followed at 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home- West, 480 N. Resler Dr. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 07, 2021 at 9:00am at Sunset Funeral Home – West. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery at 10:30am.
