Norma Carole Hughey "Sweetie"

Norma Carole Hughey, of El Paso Texas, was born on September 15, 1954 and entered her eternal rest Friday morning, December 15, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Robert Komp, as well as her sister Janice Stone.

Norma graduated from Coronado High School and throughout her career she was a devoted contractor for the El Paso Times. She was a loving and devoted mother and leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, strength, and generosity that will bind and forever guide us. Thank you for your love, support, honesty, and nurturing over the years.

Norma leaves behind three children - Shawn Hughey, Marcus Hughey, and Misty Telles. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 5 great grand children.

Visitation will be held December 28, 2023 from 11am to 1pm. She will be laid to rest with a graveside service to follow on December 28, 2023 at 1:30pm at Memorial Pines Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
