Norbert Ivan Baldwin

Baldwin, Norbert I. (Bert) passed away on April 15, 2008. He was born on December 12, 1930 in Topeka, Kansas to parents Glenn and Hazel Baldwin. He graduated from Topeka High School in Topeka, Kansas. After high school he worked as an electrician for the Sante Fe Railroad for several years before joining the Air Force where he served as a medic. After his time in the service, he attended Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas where he graduated in 1961 with a double degree in business and economics. He then worked for the General Services Administration, Kansas City, Missouri, the Army Procurement and Supply Agency, Joliet, Illinois, and White Sand Missile Range, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Hazel Baldwin, and brother, Wendell Baldwin. He is survived by his wife, Beverly and sons Todd and wife Robin Baldwin of Bethesda, Maryland; Brian and wife Liz Baldwin of Grapevine, Texas, and grandchildren Benjamin, Daryl, and Jennifer Baldwin of Bethesda, Maryland. A private family burial has been planned. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Trinity Presbyterian Church, the American Heart Association or your favorite charity.
