Ninfa Kizer was born in Durango, Mexico in 1938. She was a hard worker who came to the United States in her 20s. Her love for butterflies brought joy to everyone she met. She supported St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, she was a cancer survivor, and she loved to travel. She passed away with family by her side on February 8. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Maria Sleighel and husband Gene Kizer, and survived by her son Art Sleighel, her granddaughters Michele and Elizabeth Sleighel, her great-grandson Jaime Wilson and her niece and nephew Gabriela and Jesus Escarzaga and their children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 6:00pm on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr.
