Nilda Blanco

Nilda Delgado Blanco, of El Paso passed away April 12, 2012 as a result of a long battle with diabetes. She passed peacefully at home. Despite her illness, Nilda lived a full life. She did not let adversity stand in the way of enjoying holidays, birthdays, and family functions. She will always be remembered for her kindness, cheerful disposition, and caring attitude, always putting aside her illness in favour of helping others. Nilda enjoyed baking, which made any occasion better for her family. Nilda, your love, your smile, your sense of humour, all lit up our lives and made us all better persons for having known you. We all love you and you will be deeply missed. She is survived by her son Gabriel (Andrea) and her granddaughter Avery Elise of St. Peters, Missouri. She leaves behind her mother Gloria, sister Ernestina (Manny) and brother Jorge (Coco), nephews Andres and Gerardo and niece Tania. In addition, Nilda leaves a host of cousins, uncles, aunts and dear friends who will all miss her boundless love. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 4 to 9 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Homes-West.
