Nicolas "Nick" Arriola

October 7, 1934 — December 28, 2010

Nicolas "Nick" Arriola, 76, passed away peacefully in his home on December 28, 2010. Nick was a beloved father, brother, cousin, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and was a life long resident of El Paso, Texas. Nick is preceded in death by his mother, Marta Arriola, father, Vicente Arriola, sister, Lupe Arriola and brother, Vicente Arriola II. Survivors include his daughters, Terri Bolick (Sonny), Carmen Arriola (Phil), his sons, Charlie Arriola (Maria), David Arriola, grandchildren Kristyn Arriola, Mando Blanco, Eric Vera and his great-grandchildren, Brooklynn and Zachary brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, many friends and his wife in Christ Mary Soto Arrriola. Nick served in The United State Air Force and Retired from The US Postal Service. The memory of the mischief that you would randomly come up with just to make us laugh, will always echo in our hearts. Although you are no longer with us, you will still be alive and well in our hearts. Your body is now at rest, and your soul is free to return to the greatness it once was. Goodbye Papa. You will forever live in our hearts. Until we meet again~ Many special thanks to Cima Hospice and all that participated in the care of our dad. You all have been true blessings to our dad and our family during this difficult time. God Bless You all. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Committal Service will be at 10:30 am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Interment will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
