Natividad Favela Portillo. With a heavy heart we the family of Natividad Portillo announce his death of February 10, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. His last breaths were taken at home, a humble house he took so much pride in taking care of all its maintenance. He fought the same cancer that kills so many. He is survived by his beautiful wife Maria Morales Portillo, his children, and grandchildren, who loved him so much. Natividad was born in Mexico and later moved to the U.S. becoming a Naturalized Citizen on February 26, 1996, He worked all over Northern America and was employed in El Paso, TX by TRE-POL, Inc. for 31 years. In retirement he found great joy in gardening, watching wrestling and eventually going to church to worship God. He was a member in good standing of the Apostolic Church in Christ. His family finds strength in knowing he is in a much better place with a much better and newer body, holy, presentable and pure before the Almightly God who loves him dearly and called him home. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 9:00 pm on February 15, 2010 and Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Service at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
