Nancy Tsagaris, 74, beloved wife, sister and aunt passed away on July 7, 2011, after a lengthy and courageous fight with cancer. She was born in Spur, Texas and grew up in Matador, Texas. A graduate of Texas Tech University, she later became employed by The Army Times in Washington, DC where she met her future husband, and in 1973 relocated to Landstuhl, Germany for three years. Together they traveled to many European countries and to Kenya. They moved to El Paso in 1976 where they have lived for 35 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Earline Vaughn and Marvin Vaughn of Matador, Texas. She is survived by her husband, George Tsagaris; brother, Key Vaughn of Austin, Texas; nieces: Teresa Osborne, of Boston, Massachusetts and Tara Balandran of Austin, Texas; nephews: Christopher Bowen of London, England and Niall Bowen of Key West, Florida; great-nieces: Reagan Williams of Boston, Emily Balandran of Austin, Texas, and Nina Bowen of Key West, Florida; and great-nephews: James Balandran II of Austin, Texas, Camaron Balandran of Austin, Texas, and Shannon Williams of Boston, Massachusetts. She was a beacon of grace and love to everyone who knew her. Services and Interment were private at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
