Nancy Celia Mendoza

Nancy Celia Mendoza, 85, has been called home by the Lord to join her loved ones waiting there. Nancy was preceded in death by the love of her life Francisco and two sons Fernando and Javier who have been preparing her place in paradise. Her Momma Maria Dolores Huante will greet her with open arms along with her brothers Eddie and Ruben Aguilar. Nancy will be lovingly missed by her children, Nancy Briones, Linda Ramirez, Patricia Mendoza (Victor), Francisco Mendoza Jr (Liz), Arturo Mendoza, Cecilia Mendoza, Ruben Mendoza (Sylvia), Martin Jaime Mendoza (Lily), Oscar Mendoza (Martha), Priscilla Mendoza (Danny), Angelica Mendoza, Eduardo Mendoza (Pearl) and widowed daughter-in-law Elizabeth Mendoza as well as her two brothers Joselin Aguilar and Rene Aguilar (Virginia). Nancy is a grandmother to 32 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. Nancy married at a very young age and enjoyed raising a family of 14 children to include 3 sets of twins. She dedicated her life to being a mother, grandmother and a housewife in a marriage of 67 years. Those who love her will carry her in their hearts and remember her through her love of music and good food. “Gramma Nancy” will be lovingly missed. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes. Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm with recitation of the Rosary at 6pm on Friday November 11, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 10am on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette. Rite of Committal to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
