Nancy Williams Davis

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Nancy Davis on March 12, 2022 at the age of 69.

Nancy was born in Manheim, Germany on April 5, 1952 to James and Petronella Williams. Her father’s military career brought them to El Paso, Texas where she attended school and graduated from William H. Burges High School. Nancy loved all things fashion, hair, and beauty. After high school she attended Southwest Beauty College and started her career as a licensed cosmetologist. She married her first husband, Ron, and they spent several years overseas. Upon returning to El Paso, she found a home with EPISD where she worked until her retirement in 2017 after the birth of her granddaughter and dream come true, Elliana, so she could spend as much time as possible with her.

Nancy enjoyed gardening and tending to her many plants. She could also be found crocheting and never travelled without yarn and a crochet hook.  She loved animals and had numerous pets throughout her life including dogs, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, a skunk, a chinchilla, and more. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Nancy was a dedicated mom and cherished her children and especially loved her role as Oma. She will always be remembered for her kindness, her heart, her smile and laughter, and what a joy it was to be around her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mom, Petronella. She leaves behind a family who adored her including her husband of 17 years, Rob; her son, Ronald; her daughter April and her husband Damian; her granddaughter, Elliana; her dad, James and his wife Millie; and numerous family, friends, and loved ones.
