Myrna Dora Montoya

MONTOYA Myrna Dora Montoya was called to Heaven on Friday, February 26, 2021 at the age of 70. A proud El Pasoan, Myrna was a graduate from El Paso High School where she was the Senior Football Duchess, Spring Fiesta Princess and a member of FHA, Orchesis Club and Advanced Modern Dance. She later was selected to cheerlead for the El Paso Jets Professional Football team. A selfless and caring person at heart, Myrna was a graduate from El Paso School of Vocational Nursing and later was employed at R.E. Thomason General Hospital as a RN. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents; Roberto Marin† and Alicia Beltran†. She is survived by her adoring husband; Hector Montoya Jr., her loving children; Jennifer Marie Montoya(Gilbert), Jessica Noel Montoya, Jason Eric Montoya(Shannon), and Jeremy Ryan Montoya(Asima), her siblings; Zarina Ramirez, Elma Aguilo, Sandra Gerardo, Lisa Cardenas, Nora Bledsoe, Robert Marin Jr., Fernando Marin, Ernie Marin, Kenneth Marin, Able Marin, and Daniel Marin, and her grandchildren; Suryne Montoya, Ethan Montoya, Lleyton Montoya, Jacob Diaz, and Camden Montoya. She is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor her memory. Visitation will be held from 5:30p.m. to 6:00p.m. on Thursday, March 04, 2021, with a Rosary at 6:00p.m. along with a Mass to follow at 6:30p.m. at Sunset Funeral Homes West, 480 N.
