Monica Lynn Anderson

Monica Lynn Anderson 54 of El Paso, Texas passed away on May 24, 2019 with her family by her side. We were blessed to have her part of our lives. Monica was strong, funny, the most unselfish, loving and kind person. She was loyal and generous to a fault. Always putting others first. Family was the most important thing to her. She worked at Providence Memorial Hospital for over 30 years, 21 of those as a Respiratory Therapist. She received her degree in Respiratory Therapy from the California College for Health Sciences. She loved training new therapists. Monica was knowledgeable and the most compassionate caregiver. She will be terribly missed for her sense of humor, her infectious laugh, her knowledge of current events and sports and her 5-hour long phone calls with her sisters (Thank you Verizon!), but mostly missed for her loving and compassionate heart. Monica loved with passion and worked with conviction. Giving of herself unselfishly. Those of us blessed enough to have been a part of her life have lost a piece of our hearts. She was pre-deceased by her loving mother Dolores Anderson. Survivors include: her partner Roberta Kligman, her father Larry Anderson, older sister Georgia Couture (Jay), niece Jennifer Cavill (Nick), nephew Nic Couture (Sarah). Baby sister Lisa Dawn MacPherson (Sean), nephew Shane. 3 grand nieces Heather, Hailey, Sadie and grand nephew Michael. Her aunt Olivia McDonald (Ron) and cousins Mark and Doug. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists and the entire medical team at Providence Trans Mountain Campus that worked compassionately for Monica. Working diligently and strategically as each complication arose. You worked hard to save Monica’s life and we will be forever grateful.
