Mohammed Felix R. Waller

Mohammed Felix Ray Waller, 58, of El Paso, Texas, died Wednedsay February 22, 2012. 1SG Waller was born in Springhill, Louisiana, March 29, 1953 the son of late James and Christine Waller. He was second youngest of four siblings. He entered the military in June 1971. In 1973, married the love of his life, Gloria Jean James in Augusta, Georgia. He attended Georgia Military College and graduated from the University of Maryland. He retired as a First Sergeant in 1995 after 24 years of Honorable Service in the United States Army. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 39 years Gloria. His three daughters, Nakia Taylor (Eric) Columbia, South Carolina, Safia Streetman, Preston, Georgia and Felisha C. Waller, El Paso, Texas, five beautiful grandchildren, Kent, Feliz, Desiree, Isis and Felix II., One sister Dorothea Waller, Zwolle, La two brothers James Waller Jr (Gloria) ,El Paso, Texas and Freddie Lee Waller, Kansas City, Mo. And host of nieces and nephews. An Extra Ordinary Husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed. Visitation will be held from 5-9 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Services will be begin 11:30am, Friday March 2, 2012 at Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 4601 Maxwell Street with the Rev. Richard Decatur officiating. Committal Service to follow at 2pm, Friday, March 2, 2012 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. The family would like to thank the staff of Davita Dialysis Center (Transmountain), Dr Keith Johnson, Dr. Guevarra (VA), The team players at Total Orthotics Susan & Miguel Guerra, Eva Gonzales, Juan Herrera and Emma Vazques.
