Mike Lopez

Miguel Angel Lopez (Mike “Tuffy” Lopez) Wonderful, beloved and esteemed son, father, brother, husband, friend, and “compa”, left us to join and be with his Father God in Heaven on Monday, April 23, 2007. He was a very active member of the community working for Paul Moreno, Texas House of Representatives, for over 10 years. He retired from Thomason Hospital as an Asst. Administrator after 20 years. Mike also served in the U.S. Military as a Vietnam Veteran. He proudly attended Bowie High School and graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso. His immense love and compassion was in serving his community which was well known by many people. His bold laughter and humor was contagious touching all around him. He will be missed very much and will never be forgotten. He is survived by sons Michael Anthony, Charles Maurice, Eddie Saenz, and Michael Matthew; sisters Luisa, Yolanda, Libby; brothers, Hector, Jaime and Raul; and many nieces and nephews. Rosary will be held on Monday, April 30, 2007, 7:00 pm at St. Pius Church. Mass will be on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, 9:00 am at St. Pius Church.
