Miguel Torres

Miguel “Mickey” Torres of El Paso, Texas born on May 21, 1970 went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2009. He is preceded in death by his Parents; Jesus and Maria Elena Torres. He is survived by his brothers; Isidro and Jaime Torres; sisters, Frances Torres Gibson, and Nancy Torres Soltero. Mike touched many lives through his creativity & love for cakes. He volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House for Kids and was an avid collector of Mickey Mouse. Mike was extremely loved by his family at Las Palmas/Del Sol Medical Center and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2009 with a Vigil at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church located on 673 Old Hueco Tanks Rd. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers to serve will be Isidro & Jaime Torres, Alex Soltero, Tony Hernandez, Andy Cortez, and Manuel Castañeda. He is now home with his mother & father, Jesus and Maria Torres.
