Miguel B. Ramirez

Our Beloved "Daddy" entered into his eternal life peacefully on December 4, 2009. Miguel B Ramirez 82, was born May 8, 1927 in Bakersfield, Ca. He was the first born of 24 children to Teofilo Ramirez and Maria Barrera Miguel lived his entire life to its fullest. He met his long-life friend, his partner of 59 years in 1950. Soon after being married he was deployed to serve in the Korea War. Miguel was a proud Korean War Veteran always offering stories of his war wounds that earned him his Purple Heart and the The Bronze Star of merit. His pride and joy always being his two daughters. Miguel is survived by his wife Luz Maria, daughters, Juanita Ramirez and Argelia R Madrid (mi negra). His grandchildren Conrad Ramirez III (Jennifer), Erik Ramirez, Mykal Ernesto Madrid, Danyl Jordin Madrid and his great grandchildren Jazmin Marie Ramirez, Aidin Daniel Ramirez, Conrad Zidane Ramirez. His brothers and sisters Luis Ramirez, Virginia Moss, Raul Ramirez and Rodolfo Ramirez. Visitation will be held from 4 - 9 pm. Tuesday, December 8, 2009 with a Vigil at 7:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Homes - East located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 am Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
