Michael Dave Parks

Michael, my angel, you’ve left us yet we can still feel you. Your life was a gift, a beacon bright and true. We will always love you. Michael D. Parks, 44, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009. He fought hard to stay with us and his reward is heaven. Michael is survived by his children, Michael and Joseph and his loving wife, Ana. Michael is also survived by his grandmother; Mattie Parks, uncles; Nathan and Earl Parks, loving aunts and uncles and sister; April Flowers. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm Thursday, March 5, 2009 with a Vigil at 7:30 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, located at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Service will be at 12 pm on Friday, March 6, 2009 at Scottsdale Baptist Church, 10015 Lockerbie Ave.. Interment will follow at 1 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
