He served in the Naval Forces as a Lieutenant with deep pride. He was working with loyal devotion at Old Chicago Restaurant in Bozeman, Montana and he proudly worked for other previous employers with a great amount of dedication and pride in his lifetime. From Mike's extended family in Bozeman: Mike, our dear friend and an inspiration to hundreds, has won the final battle on Earth--He has left us to join our Lord in heaven. We, his extended family in Bozeman, Montana, mourn his death but celebrate his life. We realize his miracle was worked here on Earth with all of the lives he touched and changed on a daily basis. He served as bartender at many Bozeman restaurants including the Spanish Peaks Brewery, Bennigans and Old Chicago. His work serving others here on Earth may be over, but we believe his spirit will live on in all of us whom he touched. He greeted everyone he met with a warm smile, heart-felt handshake and always had time to chat and share a joke to bring a smile to their face. We were genuinely welcomed by Mike with his warm personality and charm. He knew no strangers. Everyone was Mike's friend. He always treated his customers and co-workers as friends. What a wonderful legacy to leave behind for us all. He will be missed greatly in Bozeman but perhaps we can take his love and inspiration and "pay it forward". There will be a celebration of life in Bozeman for Mike in the coming weeks. Watch for ensuing announcements and emails.
