Born in 1952, in Los Angeles, California, Michael Jordan, or Mike as he was known, passed on the 6th of October, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, his two sons, Garett (Gabrielle) and Brett (Lauren), two granddaughters, Molly and Maddie. He also leaves behind his mother, Millie, and Sister, Janet, niece and nephews Erin and Jack. Mike graduated high school in 1971, college (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo) in 1977, immediately went to work for Bostrom Bergen, and then married Sharon in 1980. They left California behind for the Southwest, in 1982, where he was assigned to the new El Paso plant, for Bergen Steel. It was in the Southwest where he finally settled down and started his family. In his time he was a member of the American Welding Society and was part of the writing committee for the Code Compliance Books. He had a love for cars, and a soft place in his heart for vintage Volkswagens. He follows his father, John, and brother, Thomas. He will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of funeral services and flowers, Mike suggests a small donation to the charity of your choosing.
