Michael A. DiGennaro

Mike passed away peacefully on April 5, 2023 at the age of 94, a career army officer, he served 29 years retiring with the rank of colonel. During this time we lived in many places across the country and overseas. When living in Italy there were many trips across Europe and lots of visits to museums and 8 ruins. Dad spoke fluent Italian and we got to view things regular tourists didn’t get to see.

Settling in El Paso, he began a successful career as a real estate agent becoming realtor of the year in 2005. A stern disciplinarian, he and his wife Dotty successfully raised 3 children. They where blessed with 6 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many dogs along the way. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday , April 18, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on April 19 , 2023 at 10:00am at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast  followed by a committal service at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
