Merilyn P. Hickok

Merilyn P. Hickok, 79, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011. Born and raised in Hot Springs, SD she met and married Ross W. Hickok, her husband of 55 years. The family moved to El Paso, TX in 1953 where Merilyn worked in banking for ten years. She had the love of her family and loved being a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ross and sister, Verna Marchant. Survivors include her daughters, Ellen Rae Hickok-Proctor and Virginia Gail Hickok-McNicol (John) and grandson, Gary A. Proctor all of El Paso; granddaughter, Chelsie L. McNicol of San Antonio, TX; sister, Lola Cavender (Darrel) of Anchorage, AK; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 9-10:30am, Friday, November 25, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. A Committal Service will begin at 11am, Friday, November 25, 2011 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
