Mr. Mercedes Alvidrez, 75, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2009. He is survived by his wife; Alicia Alvidrez, sons; Jesus Soriano, Arturo Alvidrez, Fernando Alvidrez, daughters; Elizabeth Alvidrez, Araceli Alvidrez, Dulce Maria Ramirez, brothers; Cevero Alvidrez, Angel Alvidrez, sisters; Teresa, Carmen, and Rosa, 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm with a Vigil at 7 pm on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be held at 12 pm on Monday, May 25, 2009 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (Old Mission). Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
