Meliton Hernandez Velasquez

Meliton Hernandez Velasquez, 94, entered into eternal rest on November 9, 2023 in El Paso, Texas. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Esperanza Velasquez; Son, Cesar Velasquez; his parents, Angel Velasquez and Camerina Hernandez and 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Meliton is survived by his loving Sons, Miguel Angel Velasquez, Meliton Velasquez, Oscar Velasquez, Gerardo Velasquez and Carlos Velasquez; daughters, Juana Laura Hinojosa, Yolanda Griego, Norma Diaz and Rosa Velasquez and brother, Pedro Velasquez. He also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren who will love and cherish his memory forever. Meliton was very loved and will be dearly missed.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, Texas 79907. A Mass will begin at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. A Graveside will follow at 10:15 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
