Melissa is survived by her mother Norma Briseño, daughter Misty Brianna Avila and son Michael I. Avila. She is also survived by her sister Marissa Briseño. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 PM, Friday, June 1, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 AM, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter.
