Mauricia Robles, 84, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024. Mauricia was born in Ciudad Madero in Tamaulipas, Mexico on December 23rd, 1939. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was always there when we needed her, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She would later marry the love of her life, Pete Robles, on January 25, 1955, and they would go on to spend 69 joyous years together. 

When she wasn’t busy raising five children, Mauricia worked full time as a professional cook for over 31 years in the food industry at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Immigration Services, and the Ysleta Public School District.

Mauricia is preceded in death by her father Isidoro Lopez, her mother Maria Tapia, her brother, Artemio Lopez, and her beloved daughter, Celia Robles. She leaves behind her loving husband, Pete, sons Rodolfo, Peter, and Gabriel, her devoted daughter, Raquel Pasillas, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina.
